Early 1960’s Fender 400 Pedal Steel Guitar. Excellent sunburst finish. In fully working condition with original legs, pedal rack, cable system and case.
Beautiful West Coast Sound with intense highs, full middle and deep lows. Set up in Emmons style with an E9 tuning (minus top two chromatic strings as found on ten string guitars), with 8 strings and four pedals. First three pedals are ABC and fourth pedal lowers the E’s. Relatively easy to change the raises and lowers. Many of these guitars have not survived well, but this example looks, sounds and plays the way it should.
